We start a trial when there is a head scout who drives it, at least three scouts take part and there is a decision-maker with a budget date. Then we set up a dedicated environment and evaluate at five fixed moments.

What clubs usually ask.
What do we do with our existing Excel files?
There is no automatic import of old files, and we do not promise one. New observations start in SPOTR from the first match; team lists you paste straight into the app. Whatever from Excel is really worth carrying over, we look at together during the intake.
Does our IT department need to be involved?
On the Club plan, no. SPOTR runs in the browser at an address of its own that we set up: nothing to install on club computers, no app store, no club mail server needed — invitations and password resets go through SPOTR. If your club has an IT department, it receives the data processing agreement and the list of sub-processors up front.
What happens after the trial?
We decide together in week 12. If you continue, everything noted during the trial stays. If you stop, you export until 30 days after the end; after that we delete the environment, and the last backups disappear within 30 days.
Does every scout need to install an app?
No, and that is deliberate. SPOTR runs in the browser at your club’s address. On a phone you add it to the home screen in a few taps (iPhone: Share › Add to Home Screen; Android: Install), and it opens like an app. No app store, nothing to install on club computers.
Can we start in the middle of the season?
Yes. The trial starts as soon as we have your logo, colours and list of scouts, in October or February too. If you continue afterwards, the first season is charged pro rata until 30 June; after that the contract runs per season, from 1 July to 30 June.
Does SPOTR work alongside Wyscout or another platform?
Yes. SPOTR focuses on the club’s own observations and scouting workflow and can be used next to video and data sources.
Do you also work with clubs in the Netherlands?
Yes. SPOTR is built for youth academies in Belgium and the Netherlands, with the same app and the same prices. The demo can take place online.
